I took a bus ride up to PG when the guy was selling it there (the Troopie). The body needs a lot of work, it was way more than I was willing to take on and I have done a lot of rust repair. The problems areas were the rear door frames and roof as well as around the front windshield. The drip rails were missing in a few spots and there was quite a few holes. The truck has been a overland camper for quite some time from the looks of the interior. It had the exhaust hole for a Webaco (PS) heater and water tanks. All that and the aux tank has been stripped out of it though.
From the rust in the roof I would say some slept in it a lot and the interior condensation killed it.
Its a nice truck but the engine is tired and the body really is going to take a lot of work to clean up.
When I went to see it (Dec 10) previous owner selling I had a cash deal set at $7500. When I saw the condition of the body I no longer was willing to pay that and walked.....16 hour bus ride back home. It sold the next day for $7500.
