Hey guys I gotta know what this stuff is... lol
I just picked up a 97 black pretty stock but it had these parts in a box of spare stuff the PO gave me. Well the handle was in there. In the panel where the stock jack is I found a hookup for a trailer (not sure if factory option?) And this "heater cord" not sure what it could be for,.,.??? And ideas on either parts guys
Thanks
Al

Likely for an engine block heater.
I don't think a block heater would have battery clamps but a 120V connection. I would guess some accessory requiring a temporary connection like a portable interior heater, cooler or refrig etc.

jumper cable set up :meh: . doubtful that it would be block heater as they draw higher amperage and it wouldn't make sense to drain the battery to heat the motor to try to start it. the handle and cover is for the rear hatch

Thats where my vote goes. I guess I'll try hooking it up today and see what happens. I'm still amazed at how many pulls and handles the truck has they really thought of everything!

I’ve seen a pretty similar plug twice, one was a trickle charger, and the other plugged into a power inverter. Clamp to the battery and the inverter would give you 120v. Either way, it can probably go in the trash. Hope the new truck is coming along!
