My trailer is for sale - SOLD
Nothing special really. Basically a beefed up utility trailer.
I want to go a different route for stowing gear. There is some damage to the floor where my hammer pounded out the corner. Easy to fix. Ive also got enough steel that will go with it to make up some fenders and about 14' of 2" tube left over.
The frame and axle are all built using 2" square tube. The tounge and axle use 1/4" wall while the rest of the frame uses 1/8" wall. Its a spring over design using trailer springs with the 2 shortest leaves removed. The hub is a 3500# design with a 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern. Wheels are Chevy Colorado wheels and the 2 main tires are brand new Uniroyal Liberator AT in 31x10.5 15 LT. The spare tire is a used, but still good BFG AT in the same size. The storage compartment is 3'w x6'l x 2'h and has a brand new Rigid Tool chest ($250) bolted down. The chest measures 4'l x 2'w x 25"high. I modified the chest to make it weathertight including sealing up the lock holes and adding some weatherstripping. There are 4 platforms on the outside of the main storage compartment for fuel cans and water cans. 1 on each side in front of the axle and 1 on each side behind the axle. 2" ball with safety chains. 4 wire electrical with all LED lights. Weight empty is 640#.
Im asking $700. Any reasonable offer will be considered.
