My rear shock busted loose! (2 Viewers)

So the wife got home from getting groceries and said she heard a funny noise. Well the rear shock busted off and is just wobbling around. I had planned on upgrading after Christmas. Now it looks like a set of rear shocks will be my birthday gift today. The previous owner did a Revtek 2.5 spacer lift on the rear. Which Bilstiens 5100s would work with the 2.5 spacers in the back? I hope I find a set since verything is on back order.

How do I line this up? Do i just wack it in with a mallet? Appreciate the advice.

Got it. Needed to slap it a few times. Anyone know the torque for these bolts?

Done. Pretty easy. I noticed a little more lift in the back. Hoping she settles down. 2.5" Dobinsons coils on back order.

Don't torque it all the way until the truck is on the ground.

Damn, too late. Should I loosen, and re tighten on the ground.

Yes, that's what I did to mine, front and back.

Yes,I think that would be a good idea. You also should check all the bolts and nuts after a few hundred miles. My front upper bolts loosened,had to put some blue locktite on.
