What should I do to keep them from banging up agsinst the valve covers? On the pass side the dipstick is in the way!

Dip stickcan berlocated or use a different one and the valve cover won't be an issue do the bolt hole line up and how goes theharness??

Check with DomSmith. He has/had same problem and may have a solution/explanation as to why certain ramshorns infringe on valve covers.

you can grind on those bumps if need be if that is what is happening i got mine from a hotrod guy who shaved everything off. that nice black finish has since fallen off as well, mine are a little different than yours.

I had an issue on a different 350 same problem.

I just grinded them down and sent them to jethot for coating.

Looking at it now I think I should knock them off with a grinder. The harness is still on the garage floor awaiting surgery.....all the bolt holes line up!
