That was with AHC in hi

Looks good! I like the color scheme where bumpers and trim match the paint. That is one of the primary reasons I traded my white LC (with silver/gray bumpers) in on a Riverrock Green Mica one. Too bad both of those bumpers are now in the basement.

I got Sahara bar coming, sliders and rear bumper, thinking of powder coating all pearl white

I have a west coast twin! Subscribed.

BTW did the 2002 come with 18's or did you get those off a 03+ LX?

I'm getting ready to order Slee's AHC override and the diff drop, how hard was the AHC override mod to perform?

Hi,

I got those wheels from the 2003+ model

The slee AHC override was installed by my mechanic when my truck was in for services

Good luck and be sure to post pics

Just ordered my Slee Sliderstep, will be freight down to San Diego within a week or so. Can't wait and then to powder coat shop it goes.

One part and mod at a time......

:)

Also got 4 more 18" 2003+ Lexus wheels. 2 for my offroad trailer and 2 for dual spares for those sticky situation. Hello Nitto Terras

Picked up my Slee step sliders today, on it's way to be powder coated to match my rig color... Going after mono pearl white color look, including Arb sahara and rear bumper/carrier to be powder coated

Be sure to think that through.... Not that I dont think you should do it. But the benefit of black is you can touch them up much easier. You will start to see signs of rust around the fasteners within the first year. You will getting pitting on the underside when you head out to the desert. And anytime you use them you will get scrapes, etc.

Like I said, It isn't I don't think you should do it. Just make sure to think about touching up if needed. Look forward to seeing more!

Edit: I am talking more about the sliders. Although, after one trip to Moab I was touching up the back bumper...

Yes I have thought about that, touching up plan has to be implemented before heading this route, the idea behind the mono look is to create a factory stout looking rig aesthetically enough to take the miss out to dinner if desired

Will be interesting to see, I've got basically the same rig and am headed in a black wheel, slider direction. How much were the Lexus 03+ 18" wheels?

About $175 to $185 each on EBay
