Currently at SDtrux for 90k services, TB services. Then mods will begin, first order of business was the AHC override which I got from Slee yesterday. Still researching the goodies to fit my over landing needs.

Got this trailer to compliment my build. Darn thing is stout.

Woohoo, pulled the trigger on a full ARB Sahara bar today, will have it powder coated once it arrives. Also ordered the ARB snorkel kit. Still debating on tires after searching and researching countless posts and reviews.

Narrowed down to Nitto Terra or Trail Grappler, or Duratrac

Can't decide on 275/70r18 or 285/65r18. Will keep stock AHC until it dies. Not going to do rear bumper with swing out right now as not ready to rip out AHC yet. Will also be towing a 2000 lbs off road trailer.

Eventual mods: Titan 12k winch with synthetic line, Rigid Industry 20" LED light bar for Front Runner 2.4m roof rack, dual battery system when AHC gets tossed. ARBs front and rear.

Very excited!!! After countless hours of reading MUD and staying up late after the wife hits the sack, I finally am ready to put this project together.

Nice! Congrats! It's fun when it all starts coming together.

Placed order and ARB Sahara won't be available until for 6 to 8 weeks... Wth??? Also picked up an ARB rear locker today from a mud fellow for a great price, thnx Eric!!!

Glad to see another San Diego Hundy Project under way!

Got to represent the 619 a lil bit... Lol

Ok, finally decided on tires, 285/65/18 Firestone destination MT, did a lot of reviewing and seems to be positive

Dealer said back order on tires longer than 30 days... Urghh!

Can't wait for the Firestone MT or Trail Grappler MTs as those have back orders.... Decided to go with (5) 275/70R18 Terra Grappler. Will be installed today.

I will pick up a separate set of MTs and 17" wheels down the road. This way I can have the best of both world.

Very excited, going to Anza Borego tomorrow.

Check your pm, Anza trip next weekend with some other 100's.

Man the tire shop placed an unmourned 275/70/18 terra grappler at normal height setting and I afraid it may rub, they are going to mount one up for me to inspect... Lil nervous right now

Unmounted

It fits, clearance looks ample at normal height, I do have Slee AHC override. I trusted my decision based upon countless hours of MUD surfing. Looks way better!! Very happy

Maxdog1969 are you camping out in Anza Borrego with us next weekend? If you want more details, PM me...

Running board gone!!!
