94mph my a$$

So I've rethought my build itinerary. I've decided that now that I've got the oil leaks under control with the engine that came with the truck I'm going to build out that engine prior to installing the rebuild one. Basically because if I toast this one for what ever reason, who cares.

I tore down the truck and started installing the SC bits and along the way am refurbing the AC system and cooling system.

The AC system has never work for me and today I found a seized compressor. So that's on order and I'll continue on with other stuff while waiting for it.

The SCMAF beta unit should be here next week and my hope is to have the truck back together so I can confirm the units design and then install the SC the following week.

A little update, The front Kaiser has been a constant intrusion on a relaxing drive. The torque steer is becoming a nuisance. So part time it is. I got the Lokka spool, Nitro Chromoly Birfs and 80 Series Aisin locking hubs.

After a lengthy battle the P0401 has been defeated and final testing can begin on the SC MAF.

The AC system has been gone through and blowing ice

And my custom SC fan clutch has been finalized with very good results.

Have a couple of indepth jobs on 80s before I can get back to it.

been a while. I decided to sure up the existing engine with 295,000 miles on it and then install the super charger along with some self designed mods. That way if I do blow up an engine it's not a fresh one.

Over the holidays I pulled the head, replaced the valve seals, cleaned everything up and slapped it back on. I figured I could give the ol' girl a fighting chance.

had to order some fittings and tubing as the parts in the SC wouldn't work with my stuff. Got everything installed and wrapped up today and took it for a good spin. No CEL and everything seems to run smooth.

Now to start testing and to start designing the next piece.

Sounds good Rick!
