Sounds like it might be worth paying to have an addtional 220 outlet installed. I don't think you will find a 110 compressor that will keep up.

220V. Do it. You'll never regret it. Other than wanting more tools in 220V. :D

I wish I could.... It cost me over $800 to have the one outlet ran last year. If I added another, I would also have to replace the circuit breaker in the back yard cause its no longer big enough.

So ill just have to live with making short runs I guess....:rolleyes:

Holy crap that is a lot of money to run some wire. I see your dilema... That sucks.

Or put the compressor in a shed closer to the electrical panel, air line is cheaper to run than wire. It's nice to get that kind of stuff out of the work area and you could do some sound insulation to help with the neighbors.
