At least you had four walls and a roof, beats removing a tranny out in the cold in asheville today (did I mention it was also on the top of the mountain)....cold as hell!!!! when I left it was 18 degrees.

Damn, that does suck. No more whining from my lips...

Welcome to my neck of the woods Greg, I am just south in Hendersonville.

New shop is already set up for a wood stove ready to roll. Some day..........................................

Wheel it! Good deal. Glad to see another 45 in the nc fold.
Fun to drive, isn't it? ;)

Durn you people... this cruiser "habit" is gonna get $$$$$

Now I want a 62, and a 45....

However based on this, the $2175 aluminum cab is looking pretty attractive. Find myself a nice wrecked / rolled Tacoma... SAS the front....

(My wife is gonna ban ONSC...heh)

Thanks but it's not gone. If the weather plays nice I'll be driving it around Winston some this month.
It needs the exercise for sure.
Hey, does yours have the spare tire carrier underneath? The lawnmower style? I need to find one to take measurements off of. Mine is tweaked pretty good.

Spare tire sitting in the bed. That's stock, right?

That will be one of my challenges, what to do with the spare. And, found the same when I went to mount the plate today. Nothing but two holes drilled in the bumper, no light source. I've used a cheesy trailer light to be legal but that can't last long since it looks really bad.

But, I had to do it so I could drive it to work today. Never got much over 60 but it did great. Thank goodness the heater works...

I can't post permalink on the phone but scroll to the bottom in that link to the yellow 45 on a 80 chassis. Shazzam! Jerry, there is the vision.

Dayum, that is pretty sweet...

On mine, the license light is integral with the left tail lamp. There is a clear section in the bottom of the housing. The idea is that the plate is mounted on one side and not centered. Previous owner had mounted it upside down so the clear plastic melted down into the bulb. A little heat gun action, and I had it shaped somewhat normal again.

I bought a real cheap little 2-wire license plate light at either Auto Zone or Advanced Auto Parts for the 4Runner. Works great.

I have heard these POS factory cab mounts like to fail, if you wanna cut em off I'll gladly dispose of them for you. :D
