My new HD-FT turbo down pipe

Here is the turbo down pipe I made for my swap into a LJ-78. On to the rest of the system. Gonna go inside the frame.

So this project is putting a 1HD-FT engine into a LJ78? That fantastic!!

As far as fit goes it is basically the same as putting a 1HZ in there. You will need a heavy duty front end to make room. You will need to weld in new engine mounts. The other issue to consider is transmission/transfer used, you will most likely need new cross member and front and rear drive shafts, I will need new drive shafts since my donor did not come with them. I will make a thread after I am done and things at work have slowed down to allow the time I will need.

You're converting leaf sprung FF axles to coil sprung?

Front is coil overs. Still trying to decide on leafs for the rear( a lot faster and easier) or coils in the rear.
