I have a BA rack also and love it except its on the yakima bars which I want to ditch.

MMW68, I like your's alot. The only reason why it is too short is that I couldn't put my 17 foot canoe or my sailboat sail on top with that. If it was longer, I'd buy it!!

Whats up with the your son driving a JEEP? If that were mine I would have to put a LC emblem or Toy logo on it somewhere..

ummm, 929s slide far at 70mph, fired right up when we got it home though, hard to ride without forks though!

If I have to haul long stuff - I just put a thule bar towards the front of the cruiser.

What I like about the short rack - is the open front, no wind noise, and it's very short, so I don't have to take it off for parking garges.
