My new 03!!!

I got an 03 LC a couple of weeks ago and I'm loving it! It has 175k miles and it is in pristine shape inside and out.

It had a dealer installed new engine put in at 135k due to the prior owner taking it to Jiffy Lube for an oil change. Bad for him,but great for me. Here is photo of the engine. Here is the engine.

I've done a couple of short (2-3 hr) trips and it has done great. I did my first upgrade and installed a VAIS so I can play my Iphone. Thanks to this forum, the install was fairly easy. I'm looking forward do more on my LC but will wait until after my 1st road trip to Colorado here soon to do some off road camping/fishing around Buena Vista.

If any of you 100 series owners have any tips or suggestions for a new LC owner, please share. Thanks again and happy trails!

Beautiful Truck!!! What is VAIS? Does that mean you don't have to use one of those cassettes with a wire running to IPhone?
