A few ideas on the front pulley/HB/timing Cover:

1) timing Cover was tightened before HB was installed. Should be torqued after the HB is installed.
2) HB de-bonded and the pulley started moving around, causing the damage.

Did you find a replacement crankshaft yet?

I bought one from these guys.

You’ll have to take it to a shop for resurfacing, but this was the best option I could come up with outside of finding a local unit that might work. Shipping is gonna suck, but so does having a broken Land Cruiser. I know. Mines been down over two years.

Thank you👍🏼. I found one locally but had to buy the whole engine. At least I have parts. Incidentally, anybody looking for cylinder head, or any other engine part?

I’m finally coming back to my 2F rebuild project. I’m pretty sure I have everything I need, but I’ll keep you in mind.
