My Lot: Differed Maintenance

all done.
as I'm adjusting the cables I noticed a nick in the top of alt belt. turned out it was cut all the way through to the backing. that was a close one.
changed eng oil and filter and dropped the tranny pan oil too.
packing is next with lots of ice and hydration.

on a side note. what's up with these stupid weather forecasters?
the NWS looks like the only service to get the week right. they predict and are reporting temps in the upper 90's while Accuweather and the Weather Channel are predicting low to mid 80'S. I'm going with the NWS. looks to be a warm weekend.

Report: after a warm couple of days running the Mcgrew & home the green LC performed nominally.
seemed to run well, didn't overheat(which was never the problem to start with), didn't leak, didn't consume lots of oil as before and pretty much did it's job as hoped.
still have a CEL but we'll sort that out later.
happy with the repairs but wish I had had more time to do a few more things "while I was there"!
Off we go...


p.s. sure is nice not having a 'beached' LC in the driveway...for now:whoops:
