How did I miss this?!?!? I also have a 77 620 and mine was that yellow color before the PO painted it turd brown. Your has a 78 grille and front bumper, what's your build date?

Good question.

The door placard says 8/77
It's a Hodge podge. The tailgate is 79. The wiring is 78. It's been "modified" through it's life lol

I have a pair of downdraft carbs on a manifold that might fit that motor

I have an aftermarket manifold on it and the Weber works just fine. she's old and tired. No need for more carburetor

That is one of the coolest trucks ever built! My uncle had that model. We had a 720 for
8 yrs. You‘re lucky to have such a novelty truck, in great shape. Wicked!

These trucks are awesome. I wish I had one brand new. I got tired of the stock carb on mine and swapped in Mikunis with a fresh L20B, then I got tired of those and swapped in an SR20DET. The spider gears lasted about 30k miles before grenading. Truck is in project mode now and I narrowed a Nissan H233B LSD differential to replace the stock H190. The 233mm ring gear is bigger than a ford 9".

I was contemplating a fresh l20b but I think it'll end up ka24 swapped

I currently have another much larger project I'm working on and don't have the bandwidth for both at the same time
