Yes the front bumper is original. The red showing through is primer. Most of the paint has detearated over the years.I also have a '67 that was new in California. Your pictures are beautiful, almost makes me wish I hadn't painted, but when I got it, it wasn't the original paint outside and there was a bit of the usual rust. So from your pictures, it confirms that the rear bumperettes were painted body color, but the front looks like it was the dark grey trim color (ours are not the pewter from 68 on). I've got new bumpers, pre-pewtered, but could put them in the paint guy's hands right now. I've seen old ads that seem to show front being grey and rear body color. Do you think that front bumper is original?

What did you use on that floor pan and in the tub to get rid of that surface rust and detail it like that? Looks incredible! Keep up the good work
