my FJ40 needs help. (1 Viewer)

just got a 69 fj40. its solid but in pretty rough shape.

i need some ideas for mounting the seats as the front seat mounts are shot. also need a front stock leaf spring and a set tires.

also the thing is stock so if anyone has anything laying around that would be a worthy upgrade to stock parts let me know!!!

I wish i knew anything about 40's ... of course if i did, i'd own one. A yellow one... but if you get hung up on something, head over to the 40 section, they'll be better help than most of us in here... We're just here to drink your beer and watch you wrench. Let us know when we can start that.

Or just make one more post, I think to it have to have ten to post pictures. I can't help with the seat mounting. I put some nissan pulsar seats I found at treadaways junkyard in my 40in high school. I could not figure out how to mount them so I gave up and used a block of wood. My high school friends still give me crap about that. I am surprised Howard hasnt mentioned it yet.

well i will try again after this post then,

and the tires on it are bad, and one of the leafs are broke. so its getting a lift and 35s. its gonna be primarily an offroad/ sunday joy rider but i still wanna do it right. and keep it classy.

Got the lift in today, well at least most of it, and the new wiring harness well probably start on it today
