Hmm... I just thought of something. Is there enough room for this tire on the floor in the back of your truck between the 2nd row seats and the tailgate? That's where my spare lives.

i run the m-55's 10 ply on my truck and i find you can't beat them for durability and winter traction is pretty good. i went twice as far on the m-55's (105,000 km's) as the bfg's and they don't make nearly as much noise. if you stud them, in my opinion they would be the ultimate 255 tire out there.
 
I'm on my 2nd set of the 255/85/16 Cooper STs and really like them, no slipping in snow (on my Tacoma) and wear really well.
Plus they are ready for studs if you want them studded!
