OK from the looks of it there are no leaks. Will order the fan clutch, I think it's a good suggestion to have it replace also. Yes I just got the 200 last month and my local dealer informed that it's a chain also like my 80.Are you leaking oil out the front main seal? - all the timing chain work requires pulling that front cover & very few here bother unless you already have a reason. Your friends gave you good info for timing belt motors, this isn't one.
The chain is fine, but if you're sitting in traffic I'd be far more concerned with your fan clutch than the timing chain. That I didn't see on your list & is money far better spent than pulling the chain cover for anything besides major oil leaking.
That chain is what makes these so awesome - I won't buy a vehicle with a timing belt, even the current 200 series motor is back to a chain drive. HTH.
