My 80 has cancer.

Drivers side, Rear sliding window, forward piece of glass.

There, under the rubber window seal I saw some traces of rust today. I dug around with a scraper that was in my hand, pried the seal up a bit and scratched around under it, maybe half a gram's worth of rust came out.

How hard is it to remove the window entirely to get a look at the rust. The seal and everything will have to come out too, basically everything but the metal. Something to do myself, or take it to a window install place?

I'd take a pic, but it's dark outside.

I'd check the price of the side glass and then you'll likely want to take it to a glass place. The part that I could see was only a fraction of the problem.

Doc, it is actualy quite easy to remove, after you remove the plastic vent at the rear, which is attached from inside, then the window and frame will pop out.
