Well I swore my FJ25 buying was done since I've got all the parts I need. But James at Cruiserparts.net contacted me with an offer I couldn't refuse:

The fuel filler was plastered over. A 2x3 hole was cut in the rear floor for a fuel tank in the past. Looks OK from 50' though.

Never thought I'd be short on gas tanks!

Jim is the front crossmember of the frame the only part of the frame that's rusted out? That part should be easy to get out here. Let me know. So #50 is in CT I keep me eye out for #46 out west and since you know now where #50 is I watch for #51 too.

It's just the front, I should have at least one here. This is only the second crossmember I've seen rot out like that.

I know nothin about any extra 25 gas tanks fer soft top trucks. Nothin at all...

I'll sell it back for one meellion dollars though.

Hey Nick! I know where #21 is!!!!!!!!! C'mon, you just have to get consecutive numbers.

This is pretty funny, but not real surprising considering the small number imported and high number of survivors. It would seem to make sense that they came over in batches. The two in Mike's driveway are 16 apart.

Thanks Jim, I have PLENTY of parts just now. I can barely turn around let alone work in the shop at this point. Spend more time playing "where's that part" and "where the heck am I gonna put THIS" than I do actually putting my Cruisers back together right. I'm sure YOU'VE never had that problem... Then my brother goes and buys a drive-on lift. I'm looking in the crystal ball....I see more reorganizing in my future....

So....watcha gonna do with the new 25?
