Here in Colombia there was a Toyota Assembly plant who built Land Cruiser, Prado and Hulix, so they're common here but mine is made in Japan and this Safari version is very rare here.
 
@LuisRJ70 Can you explain further about sales of Japan built FJ70's in Columbia? Was it possible to buy a Japan version new in the dealership... in the same showroom as a Columbian built FJ70? Or were they all used/pre-owned imports from another country?

All were new at that time since local laws prohibits importing used vehicles less than 35 years old. Colombian versions were manufactured during the 90's and you can also find some Venezuelan made Land Cruisers here.
