Search question....

How do I string multiple words together to get only result with those word combinations?

Such as carb and rebuild.

Is there a way to do the same kind of search and get the two words in order but not necessarily together?

Such as carb and screw returning "carb top screw" or something like that.

I am not aware of a way to do that using mud. Would be sweet if you could click into the 40 forum and use google commands.

Are you needing screw size, length, pitch? Before Online and the big boxes knocked our little Ace out they had a big metric section. Miss that store. Perhaps you have an Ace or True Value. Or are you wanting NOS OEM screws?

The following should be supported by the Search system:

Simple Query String Query | Elasticsearch Reference [5.4] | Elastic

• + signifies AND operation
• | signifies OR operation
• - negates a single token
• " wraps a number of tokens to signify a phrase for searching
• * at the end of a term signifies a prefix query
• ( and ) signify precedence
• ~N after a word signifies edit distance (fuzziness)
• ~N after a phrase signifies slop amount
• In order to search for any of these special characters, they will need to be escaped with \.
