just turning around an idea in my head. instead of getting a multi-outlet inverter, has anyone hooked up a ups device to an inverter & used the ups' outlets?

Mine was hardwired to GFCI outlet that was mounted into the rear 1/4 panel. You could do that and run more than one - this way the inverter is out of the way and you still have more outlets.
