Has anyone sourced these?

I am having a heckuva time finding a generic Bosch style relay mounting block.

I would like to find a 4 or 8 position universal relay block, start out with 2 positions in use, and then use more positions as I need them.

All I can find are the relay connectors. Any advice?

Thanks

I really have nothing here, but I'm curious about your intended use.

I assume you've tried Grainger and McMaster Carr.

I'm here from the 60 section. Anybody ever come up with a source for the relay mounting problem? I am looking to do the same thing. actually i would like to mount the relay sockets, them if you have to replace a relay, just pop it out, and no re-wire required.

I have some relays on a snow play that clip together, but they were $30 each. ouch. got them from Hiniker.

i'll see if i can figure out where i got mine. they lock together and are on a mounting bracket. i've currently got a four pack on my 68. iirc, i got them off a refer unit, but i'll check

This might help, I've have good luck with these, and they are inexpensive. They snap together for a tidy install. The awkward part is the relays have the mounting screw and the sockets snap onto the mounted relay, saavy? Not a big issue and it's easy enough to swap relays if needed (not common).

4-Wire socket with two 18 AWG leads (coil) and two 14 AWG leads (contacts). For auto relays with normally-open contact configuration. Can be interlocked side by side with other similar auto relay sockets.

Used with these:

QC, solder or socket mount terminals. Sockets available, see relay socket section. Standardized design for many automotive applications.

All Electronics has lot's of "cool" cheap stuff, I always find something I didn't know I needed, ;)

I've used the 4 junction and dovetail blocks, they're a little expensive, but is pretty close to what you describe.

Another option is to go to the junkyard and grabbed a junction box off of an old car. I like them because not only are they protected, but they also have fuse holders along with it. You'll need to have fuses for each relay anyway, might as well make the installtion cleaner. The only problem is they don't use standard Bosch relays. But if you can find a old toyota block it would almost look factory.

I've used both the 4 junction and individual dovetail ones which you can join together, they're a little expensive, but is pretty close to what you describe.
