Multi disc CD changer

Anyone know the approximate size of the CD changer? I've had the idea of pulling it and instead of paying for the over priced replacement insert without the CD changer I would install a safe there by cutting the top of the insert and enlarge the opening. Tonight I ran across this:

I think it might be similar in size to the CD changer and I could bolt to the floor.

That would be neat, but at 13" tall it would not only require a huge amount of cutting, but it would be the ONLY thing in your dash. It's a good thought, but too much work IMO.
