Sorry, No stick poking intended on my part.

I enjoy working on my rig and doing mods to it. I learn alot about it in the process.

No problem - I'm just sensitive because I feel like I could have done it myself. - I consider myself to be a hack and usually screw stuff up by not taking my time. I do easy stuff myself but anything that requires spot-on work I leave to the pro's if I can afford it - I also don't have any friends that are into the truck thing to help me out - actually most of my fiends are total tree huggers and are horrified by my 4wd interests.

Take them wheeling and camping. Take them to Surf n Turf next year. No trees to hug on that beach and it is a long walk back to the parkinglot.

Thumbs up to both of you guys.....

A healthy balance of desire to learn and knowing the job is done right the first time in good time.
(I'm going to Gary for the suspension.....but I'll do the rest myself)

That is hilarious - you are funny dude!

I did take my prius owning sister in law and her husband camping in july near the south yuba river and the dirt roads were killing them - talk about stressed out - I just kept telling them that the prius could handle it and they kept following - it was great fun! The pic in my first post here was from that trip.

and SNT is on the must do list for sure!

Just out of curiosity why did you go with the heavy springs as opposed to the mediums?

He can always take a leaf out of the heavies and he will them have mediums.

I am into the heavy duty - I will upgrade to a big rear bumper at some point and I tend to over load the thing - I took Gary's recommendation after a consultation and went heavy.
I didn't realize until D'Animal posted that you could take a leaf out and go medium. Still, I am not interested in that.

Mudrak knows his s***.

I'd trust anything Cruiser to him. Every single problem that I've called him about, he's given me a solution. He helped me figure out and fix why my 80 couldn't shift into drive when I had my foot on the brake on Christmas Day. He's dedicated to what he does.

Even if I could do the things myself, just knowing that someone who knows as much as him is working on my Cruiser is worth the money.

If said Dan is available, how much would those wheels and caps cost? Also, what width are those wheels? Could they stand up to 37" BFG's?

5.5" I wouldn't try running 37's on those. Go search in the 40 section about stock steel wheels. The consensus is that 10.5 is the widest you should run on them. Interco Q78's are the biggest I've seen. Also factor in that a 60 is heavier than a 40, and a tall skinny tire might not be as trail worthy under a heavy rig.

Those wheels are great! They are the same that are on my orig 79 4x4 pick up.
