WTH happens to IH8MUD around 8:00 AM EDT?

Probably chat but I get to work around 7:00 am and bring up mud. Read a few threads then get to work. Around 7:55 I check Mud again and it seems to starts slowing down. By 8:00 AM it is totally non responsive. This lasts till 8:05 or so then it comes back on line....

Server maintanence? West Coast waking up?

Totally normal, does the same here around 0600 in Denver. MUD is rebuilding its database and takes around 10 min to do this.

East coast it's 7:55 to 8:10 There was a thread concerning this before and Woody knows about it. Just go to the heep forum for 15 min.
