I remember a while back, there was a member who made regular trips to the Denver area. I am looking for a mud ship of a front bumper for a 40 from the Fort Collins area. The seller is cool to hang on to it for a while and knowing the status of my project, you know that I am not in a hurry. It was just a good price and I am trying to keep up with Jon in storing parts all over the house..;)
Thanks - paul

That was me. My employer closed our Denver base, and I now waste my life commuting to Chicago instead (not by car). That said, I know that my parents at least are driving to and from the Boulder area for Christmas, and I'll probably join them. Probably drive myself up and back around then. How big a part are we talking?

EDIT--can anyone here top TWO disassembled vehicles at one time? I'll count my HJ-45 as a project only because it sits outside the shop, but it's at least assembled. :)

Hey Dan, Here is a link from the seller:

Not sure of exact size, but it is as wide as a 40, so probably a large suv or PU would be needed. Anyway, I am in no big hurry, so if your trip allows for some return cargo, that would be great. Thanks for the reply and I don't envy a commute to Chi-Town, I don't even like to deal with ABQ traffic;p

Oh, as crazy as the traffic in ABQ makes me, I'm about to blow my lid when we overnight in the big cities (La Guardia is pretty ugly). I don't know how people do it. You guys in town are nuts. :)

I'm sure we'll be taking either the Tacoma, or the Tacoma and my faux-lux, so I'm pretty sure we could find the room to bring the bumper back.

I'll let you know.

Thanks Dan.
