Hello LC friends, it’s been years since I’ve been on here. Just really appreciate all of you and have used this resource for the last many years. I feel like it’s time I start to contribute. First I’m gonna introduce my new project. It looks like Mr. Ugly is the result of a bitter husband & wife dispute. It’s a 06 with 225k and it was abused with fists or a bat or who knows. The seats were cut with a razor blade. Very very ugly. It drives well and I’ve always wanted a 100.

What'd you get it for? Sweet talk the wife for her to give it to you for free?

Minor details and minor damage really. Just drive it, I bet you got a great deal on it.

Sure just as soon as I take off the covers. I got started with some maintenance yesterday and just looked it over and started a list.

At least you won’t cry when you get that first parking lot door ding! Time to get it built and hit the trails!

It took me about 4 years of hard wheeling here in the tight trees of the northeast to get that kind of damage!

Surprised they didn't bash out the glass!

So I was looking at all of the AHC posts and decided that I had some time after work. I love how I can search the forum and get inspired. This is my 1st 100 and so far I love it. I still have a couple 80s and a 200 but, it’s such a cool thing to drive the 06. It has a lighter feel than the 200 and much more refined than my 80. I am having fun with this. I checked the AHC for 7 graduations to start and it was good. Adjusted the potentiometers to clear 295/70/18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Painted the wheels and made it home for dinner at 10:30. Next I’ll service the AHC Fluid. I am in the market for a couple pass side doors if anyone has them msg. Me please.

MIGHT be kinda cool to run with the slashes, get some black or offset color and put some heavy but neat stitches on them. Won't cost you much but time, if you don't like replace.

Maybe heavy tape them from behind so the leather won't bunch as easily when you stitch it up.

That’s a good example why men should behave themselves, or not get caught. The wife probably got here friends around and they had a trash his car night.

You could "golf ball" the exterior: Get a rubber ball peen hammer (if they exist) and put dimples all over it. Turn it into an art piece!
