My wife has actually made this observation from her perspective. To paraphrase her; she is certain that she is very smart, but her confidence in her intelligence is deeply shaken knowing that she married me. The challenge for me is to keep her confidence shaken, but not destroyed. Good luck in balancing your challenge.
