Hi

I am getting an average of 15.5 MPG on the 13 LC. My range after fill up is 300 miles. I am noticing after running the fuel level to Empty the fill up is 19 to 20 gallons.

Is this normal?

Thanks
Doug

When range says zero, or you hit the E, you still have 4-5 gallons left.

Annoying...but normal. ;)

Yes.;)

Geez. I guess they really dont want you to run out of gas.

Is there any adjustment?

No.

I had asked this on another thread, does this system recalibrate itself? I have installed lift/tires and know the MPG will go down, and the miles to empty said 5, then when filling up I put in 23.7 gallons, most I have ever done is 20ish.

Thanks

Don't think it recalibrate due to the tire size, it recalculates the new distance to empty depending on fuel consumption, but with the different tire size the miles indicated are most likely off. I have 275/70's and the miles are off by 5.5%, speedo is dead accurate, but miles are off.

Yup, it's normal.

Yes it is normal 4 different 200s and they all have been that way E and a low fuel light = 5 gal left in reserve, and oddly enough my 17 Armada/Patrol also a global platform vehicle, does the exact same thing. I am thinking this must be a common thing around the rest of the world where they don't have a gas station / convinces store on every corner like we have here in the states.
