There is a wait list on AAV, but Dave posted that he probably wouldn't be updating the official iist with waitlist guys because of time constraints. I'd post up on the official MR thread anyway just in case for a lucky waitlister. Sorry you can't make it!

Making some final preparations today and will be leaving around 2:30 tomorrow... Had to step up and volunteer at my eldest son's class, 36 kids in the class with no teacher's aide, no tech aide in the computer lab. This breaks down to no computer lab for the kids if there are no parents to help out. A week ago we asked the teach if we could to do it today, after all I'm already there for son #2's class, and she said she'd send something home with open time slots in the lab days ago, info never came and I found out last night we're on for 12:55 on Friday. Sorry had to vent, see everyone around 5:30 tomorrow... hopefully:bounce::bounce2:

Nathan - awesome stepping up to help in your son's class! Class act yourself.

We will save plenty of room for whatever condo you bring this year! :-)

I plan on being there when the doors open at noon...not that AAV crew, friends, family, etc. won't already have the best spots staked out! Current plan is to leave around 9ish from the OC.

Almost tempted to just take over the overflow area just above the main campfire pit. We'll see. Paul & Henry sound like they'll be there about the same time.

Nathan, if you make it before dark, it'll be a record! Hey, it'll be good to see you.....

Sounds like Brent is going up early tomorrow, so hopefully I won't be trying to hold down a big space for all of us all by myself.

Oops, just saw your post Brent. I'll be there early too. Last year, a couple of the overflow areas were good and less crowded than being in the main area. And you're right, I was like 4th truck in last year - 4th after the management team, friends, and family who were already set up - so it was scramble from the get go, a 4x4 land grab - but it was all good.

I'll see you up there. I'll keep the ham on for the ride up the hill (mud channel) if you wanna shout out.

Brent, I was think the same thing about the overflow.

Russell, We'll be there before dark... I hope.

Now out to work on the trailer for me. Been on the phone and computer all morning:mad:

Russel - if we get in line before noon, I'd like to look at the overflow area to get out of the craziness of the main area...depending on what we might be able to score being there early.

I'm going to try and leave work in Riverside about 11-12am to head up. I'm only about an hour away.

Are we trying to get all the 80 people together. I can bring an easy-up to help hold a spot if needed.

anything else needed let me know.

If its really hard to get spots I can probably head up earlier

DylanICON - great offer for the pop up, but we can't get into the camping area until noon. I think Paul, Russel and I will all be there by then and we'll do our best to circle our 80's to save enough room for what looks like on a quick count is about 8 of us minimum, 9 including Nathan's condo complex for the platoon! I think Nathan and I are the only ones with trailers tho, unless Ryan shows up too.

Dylan/ICON:
x2 what Brent said

I'll be there early tomorrow. Last year I was able to hold off enough ground for all of us solo, but it will be a lot easier with Brent & Paul there. As I recall, I got there about 11:30 last year and there were 4 already waiting and a bunch more arrived by noon when they waved us in.

Also, suggest you print, sign, and stick the waiver in your truck today/tonight so you don't have to do it when you get there - it'll speed your process to get past the registration/entry checkpoint.

ps- an EZ-Up is always a good thing.

I'll try to get there close to noon also.
I may through an easy up in just for good measure.

My daughter and I will be there at noon to setup camp and help save spots for our fellow SoCal 80's brethren. Wife and daughter will join us after school.

If I may suggest section #3 called "Chippewa" as an area that would accommodate everyone. There is plenty of room and not in the middle of everything.

I have EZ-UPs if that will help. Let me know if there is anything else I can take.

It will be good to see everyone and catch up.

I know what you are bringing :D I am excited to check it out. I lucked out and got someone to cover my shift tomorrow so unless I get super lazy I'll be there when it opens! Time to finish some trailer work as well.

Looks like I have to work Fri-Sun due to unexpected delays so my spot is open if anybody got last minute flexibility. Have fun guys.

just found out about an impromptu meeting at work so I will be there closer to 1 or 2pm

let me know if there's anything people need on my way up

Enjoyed seeing everyone again! Great time.

The Fam and I had a great time at this years MR2014. It was great to see everyone and be able to catch up.

Thanks to Dave Bennett and the American Adventurist Crew that put these Rendezvous together
