I was just wondering how many road miles I could expect out of a set of 33x12.50's(Thornbirds) and would I have any rubbing problems? I daily drive my 91 back and forth to work about 20 miles each way.

Also what can I do to get more power out of a 91?

I would be mostly playing in mud or trails, they have a place about 50 miles from me where they have either zuki fest or zuki melt I can't remember which. It's in Attica Indiana. I might possibly go there with a couple of my friends who have samuri's.

How much is a snorkle also I can put up with the ?'s, they are cool looking,

After I get into maintence at work I plan on getting a 4 cyl. 4x4 toyota to drive daily, then make a beast out of the cruiser. For now though I need it to be a daily driver with the ability to play hard and go hunting.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Not trying to be a smart a$$ Chad, but there really isn't much you can do with the 3FE. Normal tune-up stuff. You can gear it lower to get more oomph but it will kill your top end.

Consider a V8 swap or learn to live with what you've got.

That's what I was afriad I was going to here about the power question. I have an old Rajay turbo sitting of the shelf. When I get a new truck I may see what I can do. If I do it and it works I'll be sure to let everyone know how to do it.

Uh, if you haven't purchased the Thornbirds yet, reconsider. Do a little research on the various offroad forums and ask how they are on "mud and trails".

I haven't heard any good things about thornbirds. It'll wear down pretty fast if your putting at least 40 miles a day on your cruiser. If your playing in mud and trails just put on some BFG AT OR MT's. I'm throwing on AT's this summer I do a lot of driving.
