YT has been given exclusive access to this private property in Central NH from NEA for this date only this year. It's on our wheeling schedule calendar.

Tough venue with mud and rocks. Ask Junior and Ernie,
they were both there last year. A lot of folks hate it because it is hard, and a lot of folks like it because of that.

I'm going this year with Minnie since the FJC was way over matched, just ask Ernie. Another YT friend is takng his buggy.

You can trailer in very near the access point if you are offroad only.

Anyone else up for it?

Won't be able to make this one due to packing and prepping for the trip.
Lots of pictures please!

I need to get a locker installed and a winch mounted up by then in case I have to pull anyone out. Or myself. :whoops:

Minnie? What truck is named Minnie? How many trucks are you harboring over there?

Where is Moose mtn located?

Thanks Bob.

She's Mickey M's girl, the one with the polka dot skirt, you know, Minnie. This time around, she has a Toyota attitude.

She's already been in trouble over on ENH her first time out a couple weeks ago. Videos were all banned. Too much exposure. :flipoff2:

This past weekend on the private property run at the Backside Inn she got in over her head and broke an ankle (rear Chevy spring) and got so pissed that she blew her top (exploded aftermarket radiator). :o

The OEM parts are still all good (we hope) and the dents in the door will buff out.

Minnie wasn't welcome here at first :censor: but she can stay now that the 80 is going along with a couple other rigs. :bang:

Plus she is being very protective of the FJC so it doesn't get hurt anymore. :hillbilly:

Not sure the exact town, but it's a bit northwest of Andover. Last year we met in Andover. It isn't open to random access as it is private property. Are you thinking of going on this run?

I was until someone broke into my house on Monday and stole all my tools.

Thanks Bob.

I heard about the theft today from Jonathan - that really sucks!!!!!

I hope you called the cops. Check craigslist and the local pawnshops. If you have ID #'s you might get lucky someday.

Most thefts like this are either by someone you know or someone a "friend" knows. You have might have to do our own investigation and inquiries versus the cops.

Sorry you won't be making the run.

Meeting place

This year's Moose Mountaineers will be meeting at the Grafton Country Store which is at 484 Main St in Grafton, NH. It is on the corner of Route 4 and Library Rd in Grafton.

The store has food and gas if you need to fuel up, eat breakfast and buy a lunch to go. (We encourage patronizing the local business.) Trailered rigs will move from there to an unloading area near the entrance to the property. The parking area for trailered rigs isn't difficult to get to.

As a reference point, the Country Store meeting spot is about 45 minutes from Concord, NH.

We will DEPART from the store at 9 AM to go to the unloading/staging area. If you need to fuel up and grab some grub, plan on being there in well advance of our departure time. We can air down at the staging area. We should be at the entrance to the trails at 9:30.

If you want to go up there to go camping, I suggest you search for local campgrounds. Camping at Moose Mountain is camping in the weeds and tall grass in an area that is no bigger than 100 X 100 with NO amenities. It is also not the place you want to bring an RV or camper.

I am out now, saw a new doctor today for my shoulder problem that happened at work couple months ago, he gave me a cortozone shot and put me on light duty for two weeks :bang:
