Monthly Meeting?

on a side note I know there is usually one big meeting but any chance we can organize a Triad monthly meeting as well? I'd love to get out more but just cannot make the Triangle ride during the week.
To answer both questions, we try to make sure all the monthly meetings are kept, but last month everyone was busy and we all bailed. This month seemed to sneak up on us, as I looked last night and realized it was today.
I propose we have our normally scheduled meeting next Wednesday, same time and venue, just a week later.
Eric, to your point, we had gone to a VP area based meeting once a month. We used to do it one weekend a month (state wide) and rotate through the areas, but weekends were getting busy with a ride one and meeting another, and a lot of people didn't want to drive that far.
So, it's up to the VP's to keep a monthly gathering going that is condusive to those in that area... Here are the VP's, (as no one declined my nomination!)
David: Charlotte area
Jerry: Raleigh area
Stephen: Greensboro area
Jason: Mountain area
Adam: Coastal area
Clint did a great job in making sure we kept to the Triangle monthly meeting schedule, Jerry has conflicts with the current setup, so we'll discuss something that works for us in center of the state...
Once all the VP's decide on what works, post it up on the website calendar. Might get some new folks show up if they can find the times and locations of the closest meeting...

Eric.... my fault for not keeping up with our local area meetings.
they started out ok and dwindled to quick lunches rapidly with less folks in this area.
Ill be making a note of "our" area's months and try and do better about posting up early.
We have a lot of cruisers in the area, we just need to get some more folks involved with the club.
Let me know if you need cards as I have plenty to share. I dropped a couple off over christmas on some really nice rigs but havent heard back. Also spoke again with a local toyota diesel importer and am going to try and drag him and his family out to a meeting soon. Hopefully the annual to show how strong a club we are even when not on the trail.

Im going to try to organize something for the eastern members. I know of a few guys in wilmington and a lurker or two in my area. As of right now its me and. alex. I think str8rocks. Moved this way? Anybody else I missed?
The announcement of a Charlotte area meeting is forthcoming. It will likely be Jan 21 or 28th at Tilted Kiltz.

I will get the triad monthly meetings going again, how about Thursday the 26th around 6pm for this month. We could try and do something around 68 and 40, that seems pretty centrally located and use to work well for most everyone. Maybe somewhere like pollo's?
i've been running around non-stop. i think i'm going to pass tomorrow.
As you could probably notice, I won't be able to make it tonight. Had a few things pop up also...
