I ordered a SC2916 from Rockauto as mentioned many times in this forum. The bolt diameter at both ends on the new part is larger than the holes on the OEM bracket and steering linkage. I hate to drill out the OEM brackets.

Any advice gurus?

Thanks.

I took the hardware from SC2946. They’ll fit directly.

Were you able to buy the hardware separately from the stabilizer? Having same issue on my 1973.

False alarm, it does fit in the '73. I just needed to file the hole down some as it must have had some banging done on it in the past. Only one slot had this issue, the other one went in like butter.

I bought the complete SC2946 and took the hardware bag only. So cheap that it’s fine.
