just wanting an idea how the weather is looking in moab ? and what its suppose to be like during cruise moab thanks

it is desert in spring. Expect 70-80 degrees easily and probably lots of sun. That said it does rain there so those are your only real two options... I wouldn't worry about all of it too much, sunblock, good rain coat, and probably a pair of shorts for swimming somewhere are my guesses...

Or snow :) It has happened before. If you don't like the weather in Moab wait a day. I was there in April once and it was 93 degrees and the next morning we awoke to snow. But typically Andre's right.

I did a search on Weather.com and the averages for Moab in early May is 78-80 for the High and 46-48 for the Lows. Those are just averages, but should be a good base-line to pack for.

good point Greg, like any desert / low atmospheric moisure area, the temp changes between night and day are big. Something to take account for too. There was a lot of snow down there just three weeks ago but it appears spring has finally arrived judging from the beautiful weather here today.. If it snows, it probably wouldn't last too long. My guess is it will be just gorgious there this year, even though it is a month away...

I worked in Moab with the FS for a while and noticed the same thing ginericfj80 did: It can be either too fricken hot or freezing cold. Moab doesnt seem to have a gentle Spring transition period-it seems to go from winter(30's) to summer instantly depending what side of the jet stream Moab is that day...

Today it has been raining and wind gusts around 70 MPH! Pretty crazy, there is a possiablity of snow tomorrow! I live a few miles away! Last week it was 60-80 degrees and then it snowed and rained Friday night, and was 80 again on Sunday.
