tclndcrz and I have been in Moab for the last few days with our cruisers. Tom ran Hells revenge, including Hells Gate on sunday, with some spotting from Dan Mick who we just happened to meet on the trail. He also ran Potato Salad Hill without too much of an issue. We met a German couple driving a German spec 2001 diesel 70 series. We talked with Oliver, the husband, for a while and turns out they have been going all over North America for the last year or so, and they plan on going until this fall. We are sticking around here for a couple more days, and will post up some pictures once we return home. Until then here is a couple pics, one from little guy from our journey through Arches National Park, Olivers 70 series and Tom on Hells Gate

Awesome pictures! I'm still amazed at what slightly modded 6x series cruisers can do!

Thanks!!

i was really impressed with how well karls 60 did with stock gears and no lockers.

interesting about that german couple... about 5 years ago i met a younger German couple that had a Defender 110 fully loaded out and they had driven from europe to south africa, got it sailed over to south america and drove it up to Texas, they were goint to the notheast then to california then to russia (i worked at a land rover dealer and they had come in for an oil change) i was really impressed with their little global escapade.
