Plan to 4-wheel:
19th - 21st near town and north on 5-7 rated trails. Amasa Back, Poison Spider / Gold Bar / Spike, Hells Revenge.

22nd - 24th a 150 + mile trek from Moab to South Canyon Lands via Kan Creek - Hurrah Pass - Chicken Corners - Elephant Hill.

FYI average Vehicle with us has 4-5 inch lift and 33-35 inch tire. Be ware! Some Jeeps will be broken...I mean attending. :p

Mike sounds like an awesome trip I wish I could have been heading out with you all today. Take lots of pictures and have a great time! :steer:
 
Wish I had known

I knew there was going to be a run on Saturday, but I couldn't get any information on it. I was hoping to get the chance to try out my rebuilt front locker and newly installed rear.

Are we running tomorrow, or is the longer trip the game plan?
Lemme know and I'll be there, otherwise I guess Ill go solo somewhere.

FJ60, 33" tires, front and rear lockers, 2" OME lift, 9k winch and a few other goodies.
 
Update.

I know I spoke with a couple of you on the phone last week reference the run that Mike was running this weekend. This month has been a bit crazy for me so I apologize about getting better word out regarding a meeting for this month. How would everyone feel about getting together next weekend, Sat or Sun and going to play somewhere here local then throw back a beer and dinner at a local spot?

This is your club so give me some suggestions and lets make this happen. Also I have only heard back from Ace regarding the election of officers. He was nice enough to nominate me again.......dirty dog, and also our friend Doug. I would be willing to take the nomination again and would love to have Doug as a nomination for VP, or vice versus.

Who else is interested in one of our positions? I have not yet spoke with John regarding secretary and have not heard from anyone else showing an interest. Speak up and be heard, we can make this an amazing association but it will take effort of all of us.

Input from the members in a very important aspect so lets see what we can do. I did not hear what everyone thought of the different web site idea's so what I am thinking about doing for now is just going with the free Google site and we will see how that works for everyone. Other suggestions let me know.

Speak up for next weekend (27th and 28th) :hhmm: and let your thoughts be heard.

Regarding the run for 03/26/10 I have not heard a lot of interest in the run/dinner plan. So I guess this will a no go. Our next meeting will be April 13th and I will be letting everyone know the location as soon as I know. Happy trails.
