Sad to see... but this could be interesting. Hells is on BLM or state land and will still need an easement to the road.
I'd love to see the good people of Moab use new eminent domain theory to take the guys property. You could make a case that the lions back creates revenue for the city...
Damn the supreme court for that decision.

It only affects a tiny part of hells, optional obstacles like bump dump and the preferred exit, I am sure a new exit or something will be worked out. I doubt that the Sand Flats partnership would let hells close, it's their most significant trail and is a huge tourist draw.
