So Jeremy randomly asks, hey want to go to Moab. Well that's a pretty good sign that a run and itinerary should be made. So here it goes for now, trail input from you is important. There are a ton of trails that range from all sorts of difficulty. So here is what we have to work with for dates. As per usual stops for fuel, bathrooms, and food will be brief but as often as required. Vehicles must be in good working order.

Itinerary

-April 19 Leave Red Deer at 8:30 am sharp so be ready to roll from Gasoline Alley Tim Hortons with a full tank of fuel prior to. Also meet up with those who are in Calgary or further south. We will stay the night in either Idaho Falls or Pocatello, Idaho.

-April 20 We will leave Pocatello at 10-10:30 am, after breakfast and vehicle checks. And head for Moab, we will either hotel it or camp this night.

Now this is where the input comes in and the decision for trails. We have time so let the discussions begin.

-April 21 Wheeling

-April 22 Wheeling

-April 23 Wheeling

-April 24 Wheeling

-April 25 Wheeling/Repairs/Prep for home

-April 26 Well a sad day but it had to end some time... We will hit the road at 9 am and drive to Helena, Montana

-April 27 Hit the road at 9-930 am and finish the rest of the journey home.

Any of you who have been on these long trips know that its a lot of fun. Looking forward to maybe having some new people joining up with us on the long distance trip.

Aw, it's too bad that we will just miss you guys...

Are you heading down for cruise Moab? My work schedule screws that up. But I'm planning the ultimate west coast trip for august and September. Month long, wheeling Washington, Oregon, and California. Should be a blast.

All sounds good. Any of the others want to chime in. All of Jeremys trails are great choices.

We can get to golden spike from poison spider.

The guys have just gotten back from a long fairly problem free adventure. Stay tuned for updates.

Some shots of our trip

Descending "The Fall" - White knuckles.

Ascending "The Wall" - I had a bad line here and had to get winched from this point. Couldn't go down without risk of roll-over.

Going over the last part of "Riff-Raff" - She walked right up without slowing.

Looks great. How did you manage to get through the rest of no left turn? Also your group ended up running into our group I hear from the guys. Two right hand drive 4 door hilux pickups, one black one silver. They were wheeling down there for a couple of weeks.

A good spotter had me ride the wall until I dropped off both the wall and the rock at approx. the same time. Sounds easy but with no power steering and zero visibility it was unnerving. I did touch the wall with the right fender but only just, and I already had a dent there anyway.

Ha ha I figured that much, just looks like it would be pretty tricky in the short wheel base.

Pretty good pucker factor I bet.
