misterious hoses on my hj60 (1 Viewer)

Hi,
Om my HJ60 2H I found some badly rusted (remains of) hoses near the desel tank.
Using my manuals i can't worke out what there for.

- What are thay ?
- where do thay lead to/from ?
- do I need them ? (car runs fine as is)
