Missing air vent "knob"

My DS side center air vent is missing the knob that you use to direct the air flow. You can see it's missing here:

I've marked the missing part on the right side:

How does one replace that piece? Can the part be ordered? Or do you have to buy the whole vent assembly?

With all the online parts diagrams gone you'll have to call CDan or beno and have them look it up to see if it's just the handle or the whole vent.

I have the same problem.
By checking the toyodiy site and the EPC, I found that we have to get the whole side panel assembly with switches and all, P# 55660-60170 (2004 wood grain).
That's around $ 400 (in EU), so it´s worth while asking around a bit. (Or check breaker's yard)

Go to a local junk yard, should be any model 03-07 will work.

I'm betting this piece is used on other Toyota's of that year range. Do I dare ask if someone has a Camry and we could look to see what that vent looks like?

Salvage yards probably have something, but it would take half a day to make it happen.

Do these things break easily? I just bought this 100 and it was that way when I got it.

Mine didn't break, while I owned it.....the two knobs on the center vents around the NAV screen were already gone.

has anyone put one on?? mine came apart but im struggling clipping it back on..
