Mirrors/Blind Spot

My biggest complaint about my 2004 LC when compared to my 2003 Suburban is the side mirrors. In the Suburban, there is virtually no blind spot in either side mirror. In the LC I have to double/triple check every time I change lanes. Are there any aftermarket mirrors I should consider? Should I buy some stick-on convex mirror disks (the need for stick on mirrors on a $50k truck is silly)?

Does anyone else view the mirrors/blind spot as a problem?

I haven't had an issue with blind spots but I'm also 6'4" so being tall might help. I haven't seen any alternatives for the mirrors. There might be a JDM option out there. Try the search button here on mud and or on the search engine of choice.

I have no problem with blind spots driving my 100.This may or may not apply to you but many people adjust their side view mirrors improperly. Adjust them so you can see the side of the vehicle and then push them out some. This should eliminate most blind spots. For a better explanation:

no blind spots noted. i am one to install those small convex mirrors on vehicles i perceive to have a probelm, but i haven't felt the need to do so on the 100.

The convex mirror on the passenger side on my 2003 was fine, no blind spots either side, although I removed my convex mirror and replaced it with a standard flat mirror as it is better for me when backing and towing, I see a similar image in each side, therefore no troubles looking from side to side when reversing and getting different distance views. I then stuck a small convex mirror in the top outer corner of the passenger mirror to help see other vehicles on multi lane roads.

No blind spot issues here either. As soon as it almost goes out of the rear I pick em up on the sides until they are almost even with me. Works like a charm every time.

Maybe the little stick on mirrors would be the solution for ya?
