Yeah I know, crazy right? 
My brother has a friend in town and they tried to go see our old place the other day, but it's not accessible on foot as the water is up some, and there's 6 inches of slushy snow on the ground... and a berm of snow plowed up in front of the access road...
The deciding factors:
The claim is 2 1/2 hours from Medford... But it's a beautiful drive, and this weekend is supposed to be nice.
It'll just be a day run, so that's plenty of driving for you Northerners...
It'll be fun!
There's a water crossing, that should be even more fun than last time.
Mining claim + snow = ?????

I get the feeling that I'm only writing this for Travis.... But we'll see...
