Mini truck rear axle parts

I need the bearing retainer for both sides of my 85 4runner. It can be seen in the image it has the red arrow pointed at it. If anyone has a left and a right side that is available without pitting please post up or pm me.

I am trying to get my rig back together this weekend....

I don't know if the retainers off an 86 or older vehicle will work because the axle changed that year.

I think only 84-85 4runner and pickups will work.

RockAuto shows the 42423 inner retainer, but not the outer.

Cant find it on Napa or baps site. Probably a dealer only item. I was hoping that maybe someone had some laying around that are in good shape.

What is wrong with yours, I don't remember ever replacing one?

Its got pitting in it so wouldn't that affect how the bearing spins in the retainer?

bearing doesnt spin in it,, pitting is not a problem, the only reason to replace it is if was rusted away or egged or somethin like that.

Well that might just save me then. What about a spot in it where it kind of blued do to what I assume was a heat issue?

Would have to see it to be sure, but highly doubt it is a problem. There are lots of manufacturing processes that will cause blue colors, lots of parts are that way from the factory.

Anyone have the sst to press in the new bearing and the axle? Rear mini truck axles are a PITA...
