Mini truck pump

Has anyone here done a mini truck powersteering pump swap? I hear it is just a direct swap. I'd like to get rid of that potential leak before it starts.

Ya most people that I know go with an IFS (post 96) set up. Works fine.

what are you wanting to swap a mini truck pump onto? and why? I have lots of fj62/fj60 fj40 PS pumps........and the only one what leaks is my 92.......and its been leaking for 8 years

Well what I remember hearing is that the ps pump from a mini/4runner is the same as in the 60 except that it has a remote reservoir. Knowing that the seal between the pump and resevoir on a 60 is a problem spot and loves to spit its fluid and ruin the smog pump I'd like to get rid of it.
