What do you think about the January 11-12-13 weekend?

A few (4-5) Isuzu friends are planning a run out GW National Forest that weekend. We have been welcomed to join them.

I think the plan is to drive out early on Saturday, ride trails, camp Saturday night, and roll out Sunday morning.

There's an option for camping Friday night as well, of course.

PM me if you are interested, and I will send the details by PM.

What a beautiful day on the trail at GWNF! Temps were in the mid-50's and there was 'nary another group on the trails.

There was still plenty of snow on the shaded sides of the mountains--areas where drifts had piled were still 6-10" deep, which made it interesting in a couple of places--slip-n-slide!

You guys drove right past me as I was coming down union springs dam heading to the transfer station. I waved, but wasn't sure who it was. I was in a green tundra with a few dogs hanging out the window

You picked a great day.

I wondered if that was you after another 100-yards up the road and too late to stop and chat. (when it registered in my head that you drive a Tundra).

Honestly, I didn't look closely at you, I was distracted by the pack of dogs you had loaded up! LOL

Same here. If it wouldve been a group of atleast two cruisers, I would've stopped. After I drove by, I saw the IPOR sticker. Maybe we can meet up next time. The main thing is if anyone ever needs some help while in the GWNF, I am only a call away and have a shop plus a trailer. God knows I break enough of my own s***.
